The village, a leader in data center construction for 25 years, hosts 20 centers within its business park. Johnson emphasized the economic benefits, including tax revenue and job creation, while dispelling fears fueled by internet rumors. Despite concerns about the environmental impact of AI-driven data centers, Johnson assured residents that current facilities are not on the scale of those causing alarm elsewhere.
