GTCC and Partners Provide Free Produce to Address Food Insecurity in High Point
Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) is collaborating with the nonprofit Out of the Garden Project and Titan Link to distribute free fresh produce to students and community members in High Point, North Carolina. This initiative, part of a broader effort to combat food insecurity, includes the distribution of produce, meat, non-perishable items, bread, and snacks via the Fresh Mobile Market food truck. Funded by a $7,500 investment from the College Foundation and Titan Link, the program has served over 1,000 families with more than 56,000 pounds of food since its inception. The current distribution marks the last of nine monthly events, with plans to resume after a summer break.
