Cincinnati Nonprofit Acquires Former Movie Theater and Restaurant for $8.9 Million
Matthew 25: Ministries, a prominent nonprofit in Greater Cincinnati, has finalized the acquisition of a vacant former movie theater and an accompanying restaurant property in Blue Ash. The transaction, which closed on September 2, involved the 33,948-square-foot building located at 4780 Cornell Road. Property records indicate the sale price was $8.9 million. The previous owner, American Lending Center, had initially listed the property for sale in March with an asking price of $6.4 million. Tim Mettey, CEO of Matthew 25: Ministries, stated that the nonprofit self-funded $3 million of the acquisition cost, with the American Lending Center providing the remaining amount as a donation to the organization. This acquisition marks a significant real estate move for the region's largest nonprofit.
