Louisville Man Fights for Wife's Release from ICE Custody After Immigration Interview Detention
A Louisville man, Terrance Bradshaw, is actively seeking the release of his wife, Armelle Bondonga, from ICE custody. Bondonga was detained on August 12 during an immigration interview with her husband, a U.S. citizen, as she pursues permanent residency. According to Bradshaw, the interview with USCIS officials appeared to be progressing smoothly until ICE agents separated them and detained Bondonga. Bondonga's attorney, Arianit Osmani, stated that Bondonga legally entered the U.S. on a tourist visa with her family at the age of eight from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is now married to Bradshaw, and they have a 19-month-old son. Bradshaw had filed an I-130 petition on Bondonga's behalf to establish a family relationship for a green card, which is currently pending.
