Manitowoc Launches Self-Serve Kayak and Paddleboard Business to Boost Summer Recreation
A new business in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, has introduced a self-serve kayak and paddleboard service, marking its grand opening on May 20, 2026. The business, named Simply Paddle, has installed racks controlled by a kiosk at 1001 River Point Drive along the Manitowoc River. This initiative, developed in partnership with the city, aims to encourage residents and visitors to engage in water activities during the summer. The service allows users to rent kayaks and paddleboards conveniently, similar to self-serve ice cream kiosks, enhancing accessibility to water sports in the area.
