Severe Weather Alert: Maryland Braces for Damaging Storms
Maryland is preparing for severe weather conditions as storms are expected to bring damaging winds, heavy downpours, and potential flooding. The Storm Prediction Center has placed northern counties bordering Pennsylvania under a Scattered Risk (Level 2) for strong storms. The storms are anticipated to develop in Frederick County and move towards the Baltimore metro area by the afternoon. The weather pattern is expected to continue into Tuesday and Wednesday, with a cold front bringing relief from the heat and humidity later in the week.
