A recent study by Holafly indicates that bureaucratic hurdles are becoming a major challenge for remote workers and digital nomads, creating a 'hidden admin tax' that impacts their time and earnings. The research found that 46.8% of remote workers and digital nomads have experienced travel disruptions costing them billable hours or income. Furthermore, 89.1% of respondents suffering from burnout reported feeling overwhelmed by administrative tasks such as securing visas, managing banking requirements, and handling local paperwork.
