Straus Family Creamery Recalls Ice Cream in 17 States Due to Metal Contamination Risk
Straus Family Creamery has issued a recall for several of its organic ice cream products due to potential metal contamination. The recall affects products distributed in 17 states, including Arizona, California, and Texas, among others. The affected ice cream flavors include Vanilla Bean, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, Dutch Chocolate, and Mint Chip, with specific best-by dates ranging from December 23 to December 30, 2026. The recall was announced after the products were found to potentially contain metal fragments, although no injuries have been reported. Consumers are advised to discard the affected products and not return them to stores. Instead of refunds, Straus Family Creamery is offering vouchers for replacement products.
