Former Hostage Evyatar David Discusses Captivity and Recovery Challenges
Evyatar David, a former hostage held by Hamas, has publicly shared his experiences of captivity and the ongoing challenges he faces in his recovery. Abducted from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, David was held until October 13, 2025. During his captivity, Hamas released propaganda videos showing David in distressing conditions, which shocked the public. In a recent social media post, David expressed gratitude for the support he received from family and friends, which helped him endure the ordeal. He emphasized that while surviving captivity was a significant challenge, the journey to full recovery is an entirely different battle. To support his rehabilitation, David's friends and family have initiated a crowdfunding campaign.
