Vermont Humanities Seeks Evaluation for Vermont Book Awards Program
Vermont Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is seeking proposals from contractors to evaluate the Vermont Book Awards program. The initiative aims to assess the program's past performance and recommend options for a sustainable future. The Vermont Book Awards, which honor the best new books published in Vermont, are part of a broader effort by Vermont Humanities to foster community engagement and a love of learning through various programs. The selected contractor will work closely with the Executive Director to recruit stakeholders for focus groups and interviews, and will produce a final report with recommendations for the program's future structure. The project is expected to start by October 2026 and conclude by December 2026, with a budget of up to $5,000.
