Novartis Launches AI-Focused Postdoctoral Fellowship to Advance Cardiovascular Research
Novartis has announced a new postdoctoral fellowship program focused on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to advance cardiovascular research. The program, set to begin on October 1, 2026, will be based in Cambridge, MA, and is designed to last up to three years. The fellowship aims to integrate AI methods with ECG, genomic, and proteomic data to discover novel biomarkers and improve patient stratification. Participants will work with large datasets from population biobanks and clinical studies, collaborating with experts in data science, human genetics, and cardiovascular medicine. The initiative is part of Novartis's broader strategy to address cardiovascular disease, a major unmet medical need, by applying cutting-edge AI techniques to biomedical research.
