This initiative aims to create a formal review process for new artificial intelligence models before they are released to the public. The proposed working group could involve agencies such as the National Security Agency (NSA), the White House Office of the National Cyber Director, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The discussions have been prompted by concerns over the cybersecurity capabilities of new AI models, such as Anthropic's Mythos. Meetings have already taken place between tech executives and White House officials, although a White House official has declined to confirm or deny these reports.
