Yomiuri Giants Manager Shinnosuke Abe Resigns Following Alleged Assault Incident
Shinnosuke Abe, the manager of Japan's Yomiuri Giants, has resigned after being arrested for allegedly assaulting his teenage daughter. The incident reportedly occurred when Abe attempted to intervene in a fight between his daughters at their home in Tokyo. Following the altercation, his daughter sought advice from an artificial intelligence app, which led to the involvement of a child guidance center and the police. Abe, who was released after the arrest, publicly apologized for the incident and announced his resignation. The Yomiuri Giants have appointed Hideki Hashigami as the acting manager in Abe's absence.
