University of Sydney Study Reveals Diet Changes Can Reduce Biological Age in Weeks
A recent study conducted by scientists at the University of Sydney indicates that altering dietary balance can reduce an individual's biological age in a matter of weeks. The research involved 104 participants, aged 65 to 75, who were divided into four groups and provided with different meal types over four weeks. These groups included semi-vegetarian meals with high fat, semi-vegetarian meals with high carbohydrates, omnivorous meals with high fat, and omnivorous meals with high carbohydrates. Biological age, measured using the Klemera-Doubal Method which assesses biomarkers like insulin levels, cholesterol, and blood pressure, was evaluated at the beginning and end of the trial.
