CMES Expands to Indonesia with International Machine Tool Exhibition, Targeting Southeast Asia's Manufacturing Growth
The CMES Indonesia International Machine Tool Exhibition is set to debut from September 3-5, 2026, at the Jakarta International Expo. This event marks the expansion of CMES, China's largest private exhibition organizer, into Indonesia following a successful debut in Vietnam in 2025. The exhibition will cover over 15,000 square meters and feature global machinery brands showcasing a range of products including metal cutting and forming machine tools, industrial automation, and robotics. The event aims to address the growing demand for industrial equipment and smart manufacturing solutions in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, which is advancing its manufacturing capabilities under the 'Making Indonesia 4.0' initiative. The exhibition will serve industries such as automotive, electronics, and general machinery, providing a platform for international suppliers to tap into the Indonesian market, where 75% of high-end equipment is currently imported.
