Nor’easter to Bring Heavy Rain and Coastal Flooding to US East Coast
A developing nor’easter is forecast to impact much of the US East Coast this weekend, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds, significant coastal flooding, and rough surf. According to the FOX Forecast Center, the storm will affect areas from the Outer Banks in North Carolina to New England. Cities along the I-95 corridor, including Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City, are expected to experience measurable rainfall between 26 and 27 September 2026. Coastal regions such as Rhode Island, Cape Cod, and New Jersey may face flash flooding, 60+ mph wind gusts, and beach erosion.
