South Korean Intelligence Indicates Kim Ju-ae Being Primed as North Korean Leader's Successor
South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS) has assessed that Kim Ju-ae, daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, is being prepared for a significant leadership role, effectively designating her as a potential successor. This assessment comes as Kim Ju-ae has significantly increased her public appearances alongside her father at various state and military events. According to briefing remarks from Rep. Yoon Kun-young, the ruling party secretary of the intelligence committee, the NIS reported that these appearances are intended to 'imprint a leader's image on North Korean citizens.' Kim Ju-ae has been featured in North Korean state media operating a new main battle tank and observing sea trials of a destroyer.
