The patent describes a camera system that uses AI to analyze multiple camera feeds to determine points of interest within the frame. This technology could create video highlights labeled with who is present, their actions, and their connection to the wearer. While the patent illustrations specifically depict smart glasses, the technology is also envisioned for use in security systems. This development comes as Meta's smart glasses face significant criticism and bans in various public spaces, including pubs, clubs, theaters in the UK, and courtrooms in New York, due to privacy invasion concerns.
