San Francisco Bay Area Experiences Classic Weather Divide
The San Francisco Bay Area is experiencing a typical weather pattern with a divide between inland and coastal regions. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, downtown San Francisco will see temperatures in the mid to upper 60s°F (around 19°C), with morning fog transitioning to afternoon sunshine. Coastal areas like Daly City, Pacifica, and Half Moon Bay will have highs in the low 60s°F (around 16°C), while areas further inland such as South San Francisco, San Mateo, and Redwood City will experience warmer temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s°F (18-21°C). The sea breeze is expected to bring occasional gusts of 20 mph, particularly in San Bruno. Overnight lows will range from the low to mid-50s°F (10-13°C) with increasing low clouds and fog.
