Brown University Faces AI Cheating Scandal, Calls for Academic Integrity Reforms

This issue came to light when Roberto Serrano, an economics professor, discovered unusually high scores on a take-home exam, which he suspected were due to AI-enabled cheating. The subsequent in-person exam saw a dramatic drop in scores, confirming his suspicions.
