Bolsonaro's Defense Claims Unauthorized Use of AI Video at Political Convention
The defense team of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has filed a petition with the Supreme Federal Court (STF) asserting that Bolsonaro did not authorize the use of his image and voice in a video created with artificial intelligence. This video was shown at a Liberal Party (PL) convention endorsing his son, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, for the presidency. The defense argues that Bolsonaro could not have given permission due to a suspension of his visitation rights, which also prevents his son from visiting him. Historically, Bolsonaro's children have used his public image in political activities without objection, but the defense emphasizes that this particular use was unauthorized.
