The United Kingdom has announced its intention to provide a £400 million ($541 million) loan to Brazil's Tropical Forests Forever Facility (TFFF). This financial commitment aims to transform tropical forest conservation into a sustainable financial asset. The TFFF, a Brazil-led initiative, seeks to mobilize significant capital for long-term forest protection.
