The poll found that 42% of respondents attributed their storage issues to thousands of photos they were reluctant to delete, while an almost identical 41% pointed to hidden app cache. This suggests that simply deleting photos may not always resolve storage limitations. Forgotten downloads and old games account for the remaining storage consumption. The findings highlight that users often misdiagnose the cause of their phone's storage woes, leading to ineffective attempts to free up space.
