OPM Launches Hiring Initiative to Address Federal Workforce Gaps
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is initiating a hiring campaign to recruit project managers across federal agencies. This effort aims to fill critical skills gaps in areas such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, healthcare, and defense. The initiative seeks to hire approximately 250 professionals to enhance program performance and operational efficiency. This move follows a significant reduction in the federal workforce, with over 348,000 employees leaving last year.
