The lawsuit claims that a character on the platform, presented as a 'doctor of psychiatry,' falsely claimed to have medical credentials and licenses. This marks the first time Pennsylvania has taken legal action against a chatbot for medical content. The state seeks an order to halt the alleged unauthorized practice, highlighting concerns over the chatbot's potential to mislead users about its capabilities.
