Oscar-Winning Animator Glen Keane Rescued from Mummy Mountain in Phoenix
Glen Keane, a 72-year-old Oscar-winning animator, was rescued from Mummy Mountain in Phoenix after experiencing a medical emergency. Keane, known for his work on Disney films such as 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Beauty and the Beast,' was found at the summit unable to descend. A helicopter was used to airlift him to safety, and he was treated at the scene without needing hospitalization. Keane expressed gratitude for the rescue, noting that he had expended all his energy climbing the mountain.
