Aurora Residents Invited to Name Baby Falcons Hatched at City Hall
The city of Aurora, Illinois, is engaging its residents in a community-driven initiative to name four baby falcons that recently hatched outside City Hall. The falcons, born to a pair named Vixen and Dave, have captured local interest. Residents were invited to submit name suggestions, resulting in nearly 400 nominations. The top ten names are now open for public voting, with the final four to be assigned to the falcons. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the city's Communications and Marketing Department to foster community spirit and highlight positive local events. The falcons can be observed via a live stream, further increasing public engagement.
