Tommy Tuberville Secures Alabama GOP Governor Nomination with Trump's Endorsement
Former Auburn football coach and current U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville has won the Republican nomination for governor in Alabama. Tuberville secured 85.5% of the vote in the primary, defeating Ken McFeeters and Will Santivasci. He is set to face Democrat Doug Jones in the November election. Tuberville, who opted not to seek a second Senate term, has the backing of President Trump, who endorsed him on social media. Tuberville's political career follows a successful coaching tenure, including a national championship with Auburn in 2004.
