Royal Jordanian Airlines Reports JD1.4 Million Profit Amid Operational Growth
Royal Jordanian Airlines has announced a net profit of JD1.4 million for the first half of 2026, marking a significant improvement in operational performance despite ongoing regional challenges. The airline expanded its network, increased flight activity, and accelerated fleet modernization efforts. Revenues rose by JD86 million, a 23% increase compared to the same period in 2025, driven by higher operating activity and network expansion. However, the airline faced increased operating expenses, primarily due to higher fuel prices and financing costs. The airline carried nearly 2 million passengers, a 5% increase from the previous year, and operated over 19,000 flights.
