U.S. Representative Judy Chu Receives Congressional Recognition for Chinese American Music Festival's Cultural Exchange Efforts
U.S. Representative Judy Chu has issued Congressional Recognition to the Chinese-American Federation of Arts and Culture (CAFAC) for its efforts in promoting cultural exchange and community understanding through the Chinese American Music Festival. The festival, which launched in Dallas in 2026, aims to create sustained opportunities for musical exchange, artist collaboration, youth development, and cultural dialogue between communities in the United States and China. CAFAC, a U.S.-based nonprofit, is developing the festival as a continuing platform rather than a single annual event, with plans to broaden artist participation, strengthen original and traditional music programming, and create more opportunities for young musicians, educators, and cultural organizations.
