Nathan Willett Forms Agriculture Steering Committee to Bolster Congressional Campaign in Missouri
Republican congressional candidate Nathan Willett has announced the formation of an Agriculture Steering Committee as part of his campaign for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District. The committee is composed of agricultural leaders, producers, and advocates from across North Missouri, representing various sectors such as cattle, pork, row crop production, ag policy, waterways, and soil science. Willett, who has a family background in farming, emphasized the importance of agriculture to North Missouri and his commitment to addressing rural community issues. He has expressed opposition to certain climate-related regulations and solar development projects on farmland. The committee will be chaired by notable figures in Missouri agriculture, including Renee Fordyce, Todd Hays, Blake Hurst, and Brian Klippenstein. The announcement is part of Willett's efforts to consolidate support in the largely rural district where agriculture is a key economic and political force.
