Ukrainian Military Strikes Major Russian Oil Export Facility, Causing Significant Fire
The Ukrainian military has launched a drone strike on one of Russia's key oil export facilities, the Grushovaya oil transshipment depot, near the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. This attack, confirmed by Ukraine's General Staff, resulted in a significant fire at the facility, which is part of the Sheskharis oil transshipment complex. This complex is crucial for Russia's oil exports, handling approximately 20% of the country's seaborne crude exports. The strike is part of a broader Ukrainian strategy targeting Russian military, logistics, and fuel infrastructure to disrupt supply lines and economic resources that support Russia's military efforts. Additional strikes were reported on other Russian facilities, including the Krasny Yar oil pumping station and a radar station in Krasnodar Krai.
