The Home Office claims his evidence of Italian citizenship was insufficient, impacting his ability to sponsor his wife. This situation has halted the couple's plans to settle and start a family in the UK. Legal experts argue that this move may violate the EU-UK withdrawal agreement, which prohibits imposing limitations on residence rights.
