Former '60 Minutes' Correspondents Transition to Columbia Journalism School
Sharyn Alfonsi and Scott Pelley, former correspondents for '60 Minutes', have transitioned from the newsroom to academia, joining Columbia Journalism School as Journalists in Residence. This move follows their departure from '60 Minutes' amid a major shakeup at CBS News. At Columbia, they will advise and mentor students, give lectures, and contribute to the Columbia Journalism Review. Their appointments are seen as an opportunity for students to learn from seasoned journalists who have covered significant stories across various domains, including politics, public health, and international affairs.
