Former NSA Director Paul Nakasone Establishes National Security Advisory Firm
Retired U.S. Army General Paul M. Nakasone, who previously served as the director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and commander of U.S. Cyber Command, has launched a new national security advisory firm called The Nakasone Group. The firm aims to provide specialized counsel to government leaders, corporations, prominent families, and other private clients facing complex cybersecurity, geopolitical, and personal security risks. Nakasone, serving as the founder and chairman, stated that the firm will bring high-caliber security expertise, typically reserved for government, to those navigating modern challenges. Brett Goldstein, former director of the Defense Digital Service, will serve as the firm's chief executive. The advisory team comprises former senior officials from military, intelligence, law enforcement, government technology, and private sectors, including former Drug Enforcement Administration chief Anne Milgram and retired Lieutenant Generals Charles Moore and Matthew Glavy.
