Etihad Airways and Air Peace Sign Interline Agreement to Enhance Africa Connectivity
Etihad Airways and Air Peace have entered into an interline agreement to expand travel options across Nigeria, West Africa, and Central Africa. Announced in Lagos, the deal allows Etihad passengers to book a single ticket from Abu Dhabi to 20 destinations on Air Peace's network via Lagos and Accra. This agreement is part of Etihad's broader African expansion strategy, which includes daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Lagos starting in March 2027. The partnership aims to tap into the Nigerian diaspora market in the UAE and leverage Nigeria's position as Africa's most populous nation and a major economy. Air Peace, Nigeria's largest carrier by capacity, will provide Etihad passengers access to its extensive domestic and regional network.
