GAC Begins Production of AION UT in Austria, Enhancing European Market Strategy
GAC, a major automotive manufacturer, has commenced production of its AION UT model at Magna's facility in Austria. This marks a significant step in GAC's European expansion strategy, focusing on intelligent electric mobility. The AION UT, an electric hatchback, is designed to meet European customer expectations with features like a 2,750 mm wheelbase and a range of up to 430 km. The vehicle supports fast charging, reaching 30-80% in just 24 minutes. This production move is part of GAC's broader localization strategy, integrating European design and assembly to cater to local market needs. The collaboration with Magna allows GAC to leverage established manufacturing expertise, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
