CBRE Facilitates Sale of Prime Ormond Hotel Site in Dublin for Approximately €12 Million
CBRE has announced the sale of the site of the Ormond Hotel, located on Ormond Quay Upper in Dublin 7, for approximately €12 million. The transaction involved an international investment company selling the site to an Irish investment company. This sale is a significant step towards the future revitalization of the former Ormond Hotel. The site has full planning permission for a 120-bedroom hotel, which will include food, beverage, and meeting facilities, spanning 5,850 square meters (62,970 square feet) across seven floors. CBRE highlighted that this prime development is expected to capitalize on Dublin’s favorable hotel supply-and-demand dynamics, particularly within the upper upscale segment.
