Ex-MAGA Rep George Santos Denies Threatening Journalist Amid Investigation
Former MAGA Representative George Santos has denied allegations that he threatened a journalist with the phrase 'get a gun in your face' following the publication of an exposé. The journalist, Bobby Allyn from NPR, reported that Santos made the comment during a phone call after Allyn published a piece about investigations into Santos' trading activities. Santos, who was expelled from Congress in December 2023 and later had his sentence commuted by President Trump, has refuted the claims, stating that he never made such a threat and that the journalist is fabricating the story. Santos has taken to social media to further deny the allegations, labeling the journalist as 'insane' and 'a clown.' He also accused Allyn of making up investigations and threatening to disclose his location.
