Minister Paudel Calls for Amendments to Nepal's Tourism Bill to Enhance Sector Development
Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel, has emphasized the need for comprehensive amendments to Nepal's Tourism Bill to better manage the sector's development. During a meeting of the House of Representatives' International Relations and Tourism Committee, Paudel highlighted the importance of including modern trekking routes, wellness tourism, and cultural tourism in the bill. The bill, drafted three years ago, requires updates to reflect current tourism trends and stakeholder input. Committee members and MPs discussed the bill's potential impact on the country's development and prosperity, suggesting that it should cover economic, social, and cultural aspects of tourism.
