Big Dog Ranch Rescue Concludes Beagle Rescue Operation at Wisconsin Facility
Big Dog Ranch Rescue has successfully completed the rescue of the final 155 beagles from Ridglan Farms, a Wisconsin-based lab beagle breeding mill. This marks the end of a significant rescue operation that began on April 29, resulting in the relocation of 2,115 beagles to safety. Ridglan Farms has agreed to cease its dog-breeding, sales, research, and testing activities permanently. The rescued beagles, including 141 puppies, will undergo veterinary evaluations, vaccinations, and spaying or neutering before being placed in adoptive homes. The rescue effort has received substantial support from animal-welfare advocates and donors, including iPaw Rescue and the Robert and Perri Bishop Foundation.
