Picasso Raffle in France Aims to Fund Alzheimer's Research
A raffle in France is offering a chance to win a Pablo Picasso painting, 'Head of a Woman,' for a 100-euro ticket. The proceeds from this raffle will support Alzheimer's research. The draw is scheduled to take place at Christie's auction house in Paris. This initiative follows previous successful raffles, including one in 2013 where a Pennsylvania resident won a Picasso painting. The current raffle is organized by the Alzheimer Research Foundation, which has become a leading private financier of Alzheimer's research in France. The painting will be on display at Christie's before the draw.
