One Fatality, Four Injured After Car Strikes Pedestrians in Fairfax District Trader Joe's Parking Lot
One person was killed and four others were injured after a car struck multiple pedestrians in the parking lot of a Trader Joe's grocery store in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Gilmore Station shopping center, which also houses Mendocino Farms and Sidecar Doughnuts. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and four others were transported to a hospital. Aerial footage from AIR7 showed firefighters attending to the injured. The driver, a woman in her 80s, remained at the scene following the crash. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that no arrest has been made, and the cause of the collision is currently unknown.
