Alligator Found on Central Florida High School Campus Safely Relocated
An alligator was discovered on the campus of Tohopekaliga High School in Osceola County, Florida. The school's resource officer reported the presence of the alligator in the baseball bullpen while the football team was practicing nearby. Deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, along with Community Services Sgt. Drew, responded to the scene. They successfully captured the alligator and relocated it to a suitable habitat, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and school activities. The incident serves as a reminder of the presence of alligators in Florida, particularly near bodies of fresh water.
