Michigan Opens Applications for $6 Million Going PRO Talent Fund Grants
The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity has announced the opening of applications for the Going PRO Talent Fund grants for Fiscal Year 2026 Cycle 2. Michigan businesses have until April 24, 2026, to apply for approximately $6 million in training grant funding through local Michigan Works! agencies. Since its inception in 2014, the fund has awarded over $323.4 million to support nearly 9,000 businesses and over 241,000 workers. The grants aim to provide employer-driven training that leads to industry-recognized credentials, enhancing workforce skills and offering high-wage career opportunities.
