Congresswoman Doris Matsui and Mai Vang to Participate in Sacramento Debate for Congressional District 7
Congresswoman Doris Matsui and Mai Vang, candidates for California's Congressional District 7, are set to participate in a debate hosted by 21 Sacramento neighborhood and community associations. The event will take place at the Coloma Center Auditorium, with doors opening at 5:30 PM and the debate scheduled from 6 to 7 PM. The League of Women Voters will moderate the forum, which will allow the public to submit questions via email. Both candidates will also have the opportunity to pose questions to each other. Matsui and Vang, who finished as the top two candidates in the June primary, will be on the ballot for the November 3 election. The event will be filmed and live-streamed by Access Sacramento, and attendees will have the chance to meet the candidates before and after the forum.
