Vandenberg Space Force Base Honors Senior Airman Cedric Eneluna in Memorial Service
A memorial service was held at Vandenberg Space Force Base to honor Senior Airman Cedric Eneluna, who tragically died on July 16 when the heavy equipment he was operating rolled over. Eneluna, who was 23 years old, was posthumously promoted from airman first class to senior airman. The service took place in the Vandenberg chapel, attended by approximately 500 people, including family, colleagues, and community members. Eneluna, originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, enlisted in the military in March 2024 and was assigned to Vandenberg in August 2024. He was part of the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron’s Pavements and Equipment Flight, known as 'Dirt Boyz,' who work alongside firefighters to create fire breaks. The Air Force is currently investigating the incident.
