Florida State University Expands AI Ecosystem to Enhance Education and Research
Florida State University (FSU) is expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem by incorporating a variety of AI tools for use by students and faculty. These tools include Gemini, NotebookLM, Copilot, Zoom AI Companion, and an AI-powered coaching service from LinkedIn Learning. The university's strategy involves maintaining multiple partnerships with companies to provide diverse AI solutions that align with academic and administrative needs. FSU's Information Technology Services department is actively involved in ensuring these tools meet the university's requirements while maintaining data security. The university has also launched a platform called ArtesAI, built on Microsoft Azure, to provide access to over 100 large language models for academic and research purposes.
