The incident occurred on a flight from Miami to Atlanta, where crew members repeatedly instructed the passenger to hang up the phone while the plane was taxiing. The passenger's refusal led to the plane returning to the gate, where the individual was removed, delaying the flight by about an hour. The airline emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior and apologized for the inconvenience caused to other passengers.
