Two senior officials from Reform UK, head of policy James Orr and long-serving aide Dan Jukes, have stepped down from their positions. This action follows allegations that the party breached political donation rules by accepting funding from a U.S. firm for three commissioned polls, totaling £32,500. The claims originated from a Channel 4 News investigation, where undercover reporters posed as an American financier and his UK-based son. Foreign companies are not permissible sources of funding for UK political parties, and accepting such donations, even for studies and research, could constitute a criminal offense.
